Mid 2018 MacBook Pro added to the list of Touch Bar Macs supported.
Select "Activate Touch Bar on Startup" from the Connection Menu.
If you are running Mac OS Sierra or earlier, the Touch Bar will always show the fkeys.
If you are running Mac OS High Sierra or Mojave, hold down the fn key to see the fkeys in the touchbar.
