Compatibility with iOS 4.1

Some iPhones may a problem with multitasking and iOS 4.1 when using the Say it & Mail it app versions prior to 4.0.5.
The symptom is that when you tap the 'Say it' button to record, the app quits.

Say it & Mail it version 4.0.5 will fix the problem . For now, the temporary solution is to set the Ring / Silent switch on the iPhone to Silent.

The problem actually occurs when you run Say it & Mail it and then quit. If an email comes into the Mail app and plays the 'New Mail' sound, the next time you run 'Say it & Mail it', attempting to record anything will cause the app to quit.

Version 4.0.5 was submitted to the iTunes store today.
It has been taking Apple one to two weeks to approve apps and get them in the Apple Store.
It will be here when available.

You can use the free Say it & Mail it Lite version while waiting for the release of 4.0.5. The free version does not multitask.

9/16/2010 Update
Discovered today that the same problem occurs if the app is running when the iPhone goes into sleep mode. Version 4.0.5 will not fix that. Bug report has been submitted to Apple.
